Introduction
She is a Christian women married to a Muslim.......
We had a little debate a short time ago.....
She could not refute any of the points i presented to her and I refuted all the points that she presented.....
After some time.....
She could not take it and ran away.....
She is a hypocrite by nature.....
Once she said to me"I love Muslims,i have nothing against them"
and after sometime....
I got this "Hate mail" from her........

Message: Jesus was a Jew, not a Muslim. There is more to being a Muslim than believing in one God, if not then the shahada would not include stating the belief that Muhammed was the prophet of God. Since he wasn't even around during any of the prophets lives or during Jesus' lifetime then none of them can be Muslim.
I find no need to defend my religion or the Bible. It is the word of God and was given to all people and you have the choice to accept it or not. Of course as a Christian I wish you to accept it because it is the truth and the way to God, but God has given you the free will to choose it or deny it.
I don't think it is very wise of you to pick verses that you think show disgust when your own prophet chose to marry a 6 year old girl and consumate that marriage when she was only 9. That is something that would never be ordained by God. He did so because he desired a child. Because of his actions this is still being practiced in many Islamic countries where poor innocent victims are being sold to filthy old men who are pedophiles. Because of passages in the quran about killing infidels, the radical Muslims use this verse to justify their killing of innocent victims, many being Muslims themselves. There is much in the quran that was clearly written for that time and should be changed. That is a major flaw in the quran in that it does not allow for evolution of the times and many of it's followers are still living as they were 1400 years ago.

Questions
All Muslims I know say that all the prophets were Muslim because they believed in one God. Why then in order?to be a Muslim one must say the shahada which includes saying Muhammed was the prophet of God. If it wasn't necessary to say this then(obviously Muhammed was not alive) then why must one say it now. Just saying there is one God does not make a person Muslim. Have you all forgotten that most if not all of the prophets were actually Hebrews which is not Islam or Muslims?

Yes i know that Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) was not alive at the time of Jesus Christ(pbuh) and other Prophets......
But all the Prophets of God preached oneness of Allah and gave the Glad tidings of a Prophet to come in the future which would "testify" and "Glorify" Jesus Christ (pbuh)....
Sūra 61: Ṣaff 6. And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"

A "Muslim" literally means a person who obeys the commandments of Jesus Christ(pbuh) and Jesus Christ was a Muslim according to the Bible.....

The word "Islam" has been derived from two words...."Silm" which means to surrender and "Salaam" which means "Peace"..In short,Islam literally means "Peace acquired by submitting your will to Allah"

Question 2
When a person converts to Islam do they get materials showing them the difference between sunni and shia?Are they taught to hate the other sect? How would it make a new convert feel when they choose Islam because of the peace they think it promotes and then find out they are supossed to hate shia or sunni instead of showing love towards their fellow man. If one of you were responsible in helping a new convert would you tell them all about the "bad" things the other sect believes in and promote hatred of that sect? Just wondering since the attempt at unity went so well(rolls eyes).

1. Muslims should be united
It is a fact that Muslims today, are divided amongst themselves. The tragedy is that such divisions are not endorsed by Islam at all. Islam believes in fostering unity amongst its followers.
The Glorious Qur’an says:
"And hold fast,
All together, by the rope
Which Allah (stretches out for you),
and be not divided among yourselves;"
[Al-Qur’an 3:103]
Which is the rope of Allah that is being referred to in this verse? It is the Glorious Qur’an. The Glorious Qur’an is the rope of Allah which all Muslims should hold fast together. There is double emphasis in this verse. Besides saying ‘hold fast all together’ it also says, ‘be not divided’.
Qur’an further says,
"Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger"
[Al-Qur’an 4:59]
All the Muslim should follow the Qur’an and authentic Ahadith and be not divided among themselves.
2. It is prohibited to make sects and divisions in Islam
The Glorious Qur’an says:
"As for those who divide
Their religion and break up
Into sects, thou hast
No part in them in the least:
Their affair is with Allah:
He will in the end
Tell them the truth
Of all that they did."
[Al-Qur’an 6:159]
In this verse Allah (swt) says that one should disassociate oneself from those who divide their religion and break it up into sects.
But when one asks a Muslim, "who are you?", the common answer is either ‘I am a Sunni, or ‘I am a Shia’. Some call themselves Hanafi, or Shafi or Maliki or Humbali. Some say ‘I am a Deobandi’, while some others say ‘I am a Barelvi’.
3. Our Prophet was a Muslim
One may ask such Muslims, "Who was our beloved prophet (pbuh)? Was he a Hanafi or a Shafi, or a Humbali or a Maliki?" No! He was a Muslim, like all the other prophets and messengers of Allah before him.
It is mentioned in chapter 3 verse 52 of Al-Qur’an that Jesus (pbuh) was a Muslim.
Further, in chapter 3 verse 67, Al-Qur’an says that Ibrahim (pbuh) was not a Jew or a Christian but was a Muslim.
4. Qur’an says call yourselves Muslim
a. If anyone poses a Muslim the question who are you, he should say "I am a MUSLIM, not a Hanafi or a Shafi". Surah Fussilat chapter 41 verse 33 says:
"Who is better in speech
Than one who calls (men)
To Allah, works righteousness,
And says, ‘I am of those
Who bow in Islam (Muslim)?’ "
[Al-Qur’an 41:33]
The Qur’an says "Say I am of those who bow in Islam". In other words, say, "I am a Muslim".
b. The Prophet (pbuh) dictated letters to non-Muslim kings and rulers inviting them to accept Islam. In these letters he mentioned the verse of the Qur’an from Surah Ali Imran chapter 3 verse 64:
Say ye: "Bear witness
That we (at least)
Are Muslims (bowing
To Allah’s Will)."
[Al-Qur’an 3:64]
5. Respect all the Great Scholars of Islam
We must respect all the great scholars of Islam, including the four Imaams, Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafi, Imam Humbal and Imam Malik (may Allah be pleased with them all). They were great scholars and may Allah reward them for their research and hardwork. One can have no objection if someone agrees with the views and research of Imam Abu Hanifa or Imam Shafi, etc. But when posed a question, ‘who are you?’, the reply should only be ‘I am a Muslim’.
Some may argue by quoting the hadith of our beloved Prophet from Sunan Abu Dawood Hadith No. 4579. In this hadith the prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said, "My community will be split up into seventy-three sects."
This hadith reports that the prophet predicted the emergence of seventy-three sects. He did not say that Muslims should be active in dividing themselves into sects. The Glorious Qur’an commands us not to create sects. Those who follow the teachings of the Qur’an and Sahih Hadith, and do not create sects are the people who are on the true path.
According to Tirmidhi Hadith No. 171, the prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said, "My Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three sects, and all of them will be in Hell fire except one sect." The companions asked Allah’s messenger which group that would be. Where upon he replied, "It is the one to which I and my companions belong."
The Glorious Qur’an mentions in several verses, "Obey Allah and obey His Messenger". A true Muslim should only follow the Glorious Qur’an and the Sahih Hadith. He can agree with the views of any scholar as long as they conform to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sahih Hadith. If such views go against the Word of Allah, or the Sunnah of His Prophet, then they carry no weight, regardless of how learned the scholar might be.
If only all Muslims read the Qur’an with understanding and adhere to Sahih Hadith, Inshallah most of these differences would be solved and we could be one united Muslim Ummah.

Question 3
When a Muslim leaves Islam most say it's because his Imam was weak or he wasn't a good Muslim to begin with.
So that also means that when a Christian, Jew, etc. leaves their religion to convert to Islam that they were also weak in their faith and not a good Christian, Jew, etc. Why would you want them in your religion if they were not strong enough in their faith before? Just because they convert to Islam does mean they are going to be a better Muslim than they were a Christian, Jew, ect.

How can I ask this without sounding anti-Islam, which is not intended?
Please, please, please understand it is not my intent to bash Islam or sound negative about it so please do not be offended. I know that most Muslims despise the radical terrorists and speak out about the atrocities they commit and they say what the terrorists are doing is not Islamic. What I don't understand about this is that most Muslims will tell you that the quran was written for all people for all time, past, present and future. Muhammed sanctioned many wars and any act of violence was permitted. The terrorists are doing what is permissable according to the quran and if the quran is supossed to be for all time then how can Muslims say the actions of the terrorists are not Islamic. It seems that in this situation Muslims say those things were only permitted during the time of Muhammad's lifetime and not for all time as previously said.
If the violence wasn't allowed during Muhammad's lifetime and written in the quran then the terrorists would not have those passages to justify their actions. Is this because it was only allowed during times of war. Since these terrorists think they are at war with non-Muslims(and with other Muslims) doesn't this mean it is allow according to the quran? Please I am seriously trying to understand this. Would you please give me your opinions (any quranic passage or hadith is appreciated too) why you consider their actions to be non-Islamic. Please be respectful in your answers as I truly mean no disrespect to Islam or Muslims and I apologize in advance if I have offended anyone.

Sura Maryam vs 33 says that when Jesus as a baby spoke that He said "So peace is on me the day I was born the day I die and the day that I shall be raised up to live(again)". If Muslims believe that Jesus was replaced on the cross by Judas and that God took Him to heaven without Him dying then when is He supossed to die?

JESUS (PBUH) SAID, "THE DAY THAT I DIE", NOT "THE DAY THAT I DIED" It is mentioned in Surah Maryam, Chapter 19 verse 33 "So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die and the Day that I shall be raised up to life (again)". [Al-Qur’an 19:33] The Qur’an mentions that Jesus (pbuh) said "Peace is on me the Day I was born, the day that I die". It is not stated "the day that I died". It is in the future tense and not in the past tense. JESUS (PBUH) WAS RAISED UP ALIVE The Qur’an further says in Surah Nisa, Chapter 4 verse 157-158: "That they said (in boast), ‘We killed Jesus Christ the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’ – But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not – Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is exalted in Power, Wise." [Al-Qur’an 4:157-158]

I know that Islam teaches that the bible and torah are also books of God?but it is said that anything in those books that conflicts with what is in the quran that they have been changed. My question is how many of you have ever read any of the other books of God other than the quran? Are you knowledgeable about what each book contains because you've read them or only because you've read what Islam says about them?

Quran does not teach that Bible is the word of God....
Bible has been derived from the greek word "Biblious" which means book....
so Holy Bible means Holy Book.....
The word "Bible" itself is not in the Bible.....!!
We believe that Injeel was the book revealed to Jesus Christ(pbuh) and Torah was the book revealed to Moses(pbuh)
The present Bible is not Injeel...
It is nowhere close to Injeel!!
Question 7
If the below Sura is correct then why can Muslim men marry a woman who is Christian or Jewish?
Sura 5:51
"Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number. God does not guide the wrongdoers." (Dawood)
" O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk." (Pickthall)
This was from an email sent to me in regards to my answering a question that Muslims could be friends with Christians and Jews and Muslim men could even marry them. I don't know enough about the verses in the quran to answer him back and it got me wondering about this as it's a contradiction. Thanks for any help.

So Christians who believe In Jesus Christ(pbuh) as a Messenger and believe that Allah (God) is one and believe in a future Prophet will get a reward and those Christian women are allowed to marry Muslim men(unlike You)

Does anyone know of any websites that scientifically refute the "scientific" miracles of the Quran?
I know there have been non-Muslim scientist that say some of the passages in the quran can be proven scientifically, but I'm wondering if there is anything that refutes it. I've looked at some anti-Islamic sites, but they don't try to disprove the scientific miracles. Does anybody know of any?
