The Glorified Jesus
In The New Testament of the Bible,we read:
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth : for he shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you" (John 16:12-14).
And
John 15:26"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me"
Now before Christians say that it points to the Holy Spirit and Muslims say that Jesus Christ is foretelling the coming of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)..
I want to point out some things which this Prophet namely Muhammad(pbuh) taught his followers....
He taught that Mary(pbuh) was indeed a pious woman
He taught that Jesus Christ was indeed a Servant of Allah..
He taught that Mary(pbuh) was the "Chosen" and the "Best" woman in the whole universe (Quran 3:43)
He taught that anyone who does not believe that Jesus Christ was a Servant of Allah and Mary(pbuh) was a pious woman,is not a Muslim
He taught that Jesus Christ did Many Miracles with the help of his creator
He taught that Jesus Christ did not die a humiliating and Cursed death on cross,rather he was ascended to heavens safely
So now We know that after the ascending of Jesus Christ,500 years after,a man comes and "Glorifies" Jesus Christ and "Testify" him.......
Maybe this is the reason that 1.7 billion Muslims love and respect Jesus Christ as they love Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)...
the never say "Isa"(Jesus) alone....
they say "revered" Jesus Christ May Peace and Mercy of Allah be upon him...
So there we have it....
Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) truly glorified Jesus Christ.....
He Testified his existence while many modern day Christians are doubting.....
Here is a Hadith of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) which further glorifies Jesus Christ....
· Abu Hurairah reported Allah's Messenger (PBUH) as saying, "I am the nearest of kin to Jesus, son of Mary, in this world and the next. The prophets are brothers, sons of one father by co-wives. Their mothers are different but their religion is one. There has been no prophet between us". (Bukhari and Muslim).
May Allah guide every single soul to this "Truthful" Man....
